Division K Club Achievement Update - December 2009

Notice for Division K 2nd TLI Training

Greetings from Div K Council Members.

The above mentioned subject is referred. Notice is hereby given that, Division K Second TLI Training for TERM 2009/2010 shall be held on 30th January 2010.

Kindly inform all your respective CLUB PRESIDENTs in your AREA about the VENUE, DATE, & TIME of our second TLI TRAINING FOR TERM 2009/2010. Your kind cooperation is very much appreciated, as CLUB PRESIDENTS & their EXCOS will need to purchase air tickets especially from BRUNEI , KOTA KINABALU, TAWAU, LAHAD DATU, and LABUAN .

14th Annual Division K Convention

Dear Fellow Toastmasters of Division K,

THIS IS IT!!! The 14th Annual Division K Convention will be coming to you 27th – 28th March 2010 right here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! Register NOW to enjoy the early bird package of only RM130.00 for a weekend of entertainment, fellowship and inspirational speeches!

The Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club will be hosting the annual convention this coming March 2010 and what a programme we have for you!

27th March 2010 (Sat) Welcome Night

Theme: Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT!

Dress code: Michael Jackson lookalike / Black & White

Come dressed in your best Black and White MJ persona and sing/dance your way into the hearts of your fellow Toastmasters on this one night MJ tribute cum Fellowship Night!

Entertainment Programme:

Area / Club MJ Contest:

Choose to sing or dance an MJ number either by Area or by Club and submit your chosen MJ song to the Organising Committee by 10th March 2010. As we want a variety of MJ’s songs and would like to avoid a whole night of everyone singing ‘BEAT IT’, we will accept entries and bookings on a first come first serve basis! So email and book your chosen song NOW! J

Performances will be limited to up to a maximum of 10 performances. Solos / Group singing / dancing acceptable. Please state which club or Area you will be representing.

Workshop:

For our Educational workshop, we have none other than our LGET Mohd. Arif (yes, the one with the beautiful baritone voice!) to conduct at 2hr workshop on “Finding Your Voice”. Be sure not to miss this professional speaker and trainer sharing with us the valuable secrets of using your voice in communication and leadership!

Division K International Speech and Table Topics Contest 2010:

And of course, we will have our Annual Division K International Speech and Table Topics Contest! Come to support and root for your fellow representatives as 6 Areas compete for the coveted championship trophy and a place at the Miri District Convention 21-23 May 2010 Semi Finals!
